LOC:- Line of Control

The meaning of Line of Control i.e. LOC is that it refers to the military control line which is between two countries and that is India and Pakistan and the citizens of these countries are controlled parts of the princely state Jammu and Kashmir of India. This line LOC does not consider as a constitute or legally international boundary, but it is only considered as the de facto border. The original name of this control line is the Ceasefire Line, then, later on, it was renamed as the Line of Control as per the Simla Agreement that was signed or fixed on 3rd of July month in 1972. The part of the former princely state that is under Indian control is known as the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The part which is controlled by the Pakistanis is further divided into two parts such as Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit–Baltistan. The Line of Control which is on the northernmost point is known as NJ9842. The border between India and Pakistan continues from the southernmost point on the LOC.
