NOAA stands for National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. It is an American scientific agency. It is a part of the United States Department of Commerce. It focuses on the conditions of the major waterways, oceans and the atmosphere. It was originally on 10th February 1807 which was 211 years ago. However, it was reestablished on 3rd October 1970 which was 48 years ago. It is a part of the jurisdiction US Federal Government. It is headquartered in Silver Spring, Maryland in the United States. NOAA operations include warning people of dangerous weather, charting seas, guiding the use and protection of ocean and coastal resources and conducting research to provide understanding and improving stewardship of the environment.
