UNFPA: – United Nations Fund for Population Activities
The United Nations Population Fund, whose abbreviation is UNFPA and which is formerly the United Nations Fund for Population Activities. It is a UN organization. The UNFPA says that the lead UN agency for delivering a world where every pregnancy is wanted, every birth of a child should be safe and every young potential of energy must be fulfilled. The work of the United Nations Fund for Population Activities involves the improvement of health which is related to the reproductive system of the body and it also includes the creation of national strategies and protocols, and birth control measures by providing supplies and services. Presently this organization has been well known for it’s all over the world campaign that is against child marriage, obstetric fistula and female gender mutilation.
The UNFPA contribute their programs in more than 150 nations and areas spread across four geographic regions: the Arab States and Europe, Asia and the Pacific, Latin America and the Caribbean, and sub-Saharan Africa.
